Bio

Operating at the intersection of business and technology, Vijay Sai Vadlamudi brings a wealth of business experience having engaged in internal, statutory and investigative audit followed by roles in finance, sales and operations functions of both American and Indian corporate organizations in multiple industry verticals. Since 1998, he has worked in a variety of Information Technology functions responsible for the design and delivery of software systems. He currently leads a team of software engineers at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI)in the design and delivery of several COTS (Commerical-Off-the-Shelf) and custom enterprise business systems required to manage the Institute’s business operations.

At the same time, Vadlamudi serves as an Adjunct Assistant Teaching Professor and  Faculty Advisor in the School of Computer Science and Heinz College. His teaching interests lie in enriching software engineers on data-driven approaches to DevOps and enduring principles of business which govern many engineering activities and initiatives in the corporate world. As a Contributor to the India Strategy for Carnegie Mellon University, he works with Dr. Jimmy Hsia, Vice Provost, International Programs and Strategy.

In addition to his qualification as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Vadlamudi holds advanced degrees from Carnegie Mellon University, including an MBA from the Tepper Business School and a Master of Software Engineering from the School of Computer Science.
