Our graduates rise to positions of leadership. On average, 50% of our graduates enter senior software engineering positions within five years of graduation. 25% of our graduates directly enter senior software engineering positions. While these statistics are controlled by market demand, our graduates who obtain senior positions do so within 18 months on average, which is up to 12 months faster than graduates from non-CMU master degree programs headed to software engineering positions. The MSE program routinely tracks the career velocity of our graduates to prepare our students to reach their greatest potential.
